Biography

My name is Jade Miller. I am an artist on a journey of growth and exploration of the world around me. I’ve always been an artist and utilize a variety of mediums in my art: digital, paint, clay, paper, and fabric. I am always looking to explore new media and practice new skills.

I have always wanted to create my own business to share my art as physical products people can own. This is the beginning of that journey and I hope that you find as much joy in my artwork as I do in the thought of others enjoying it within their day-to-day. 

 

It’s always hard to write about yourself, but this quote which I love describes the ethos of my art: “Making art now means working in the face of uncertainty; it means living with doubt and contradiction, doing something no one much cares whether you do, and for which there may be neither audience nor reward. -- In large measure becoming an artist consists of learning to accept yourself, which makes your work personal, and in following your own voice, which makes your art distinctive.” - Art & Fear by David Bayles and Ted Orland. I feel as though this perfectly captures my feelings relating to not only my personal journey in life but also my artistic journey, ultimately they’re intertwined for me.
